A LIFE BUILT ON PURPOSE

Growing up in Amarillo, Texas, Brandon learned early that success comes from discipline, grit, and unwavering belief.

Those values carried him through an incredible competitive career that culminated with an unforgettable moment—winning the Gold Medal in Freestyle Wrestling at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia.

But for Brandon, that achievement was never the destination. It became the platform for a lifelong commitment to investing in others.

Whether he's coaching Olympic medalists, mentoring youth athletes, speaking to business leaders, or leading families through the challenges of sport and life, Brandon's message remains the same:

Championships are won by people who choose daily excellence.

From serving as Head Coach at the U.S. Olympic Training Center and National Development Coach for USA Wrestling to directing elite Regional Training Centers, Brandon has helped shape some of the nation's most accomplished wrestlers. Today, through SportsLife Wrestling and the G1 Training Center, Brandon is creating an environment where Olympic dreams, college aspirations, and personal growth all exist together.

FAITH

Character comes before championships. We build people of integrity and purpose.

FAMILY

Success means little if those closest to you aren't winning too. Family is our foundation.

FELLOWSHIP

Great teams are built on relationships, accountability, and service to others.

FULL EFFORT

Control what you can control and give everything you have every day.

MORE THAN A COACH

Brandon is first and foremost a husband and father. He and his wife Tina are raising four incredible children:

Sydney • Charlotte • Savannah • Sawyer

His greatest passion is helping families use wrestling as a vehicle for developing confidence, resilience, discipline, and purpose.

Whether he's working with Olympic hopefuls or a six-year-old stepping onto the mat for the first time, Brandon believes every athlete deserves to be seen, challenged, and encouraged.
